Soccer Northwest Ontario (SNO) is one of the 21 Districts that are affiliated with the Ontario Soccer Association (OSA) which is the governing body for soccer in Ontario. SNO acts as a branch association for the OSA within the District boundary. SNO has the largest geographical boundary in the OSA which is made up the District of Thunder Bay, the District of Rainy River and the District of Kenora.

 

SNO is to promote, develop and govern the game of soccer, both indoor and outdoor, in the District. To provide opportunity for all ages, both male and female to play soccer at the recreational and competitive levels.

 

SNO will also implement clinics for players, coaches, referees and administrators, according the standards of the OSA. SNO will administer player registration within the District. SNO will appoint, or delegate appointment of, referees for all games approved by the District and approve and monitor all tournaments within the District.
